artist statement
My current practise focuses on using a variety of materials
and appropriating the found object.
By letting the work evolve organically my work is a response
to the material at hand. This process driven method gives me scope to
incorporate a range of methods and techniques of creating and allows for an
assortment of materials to be used.
The text that’s added to the assemblage throughout the
making process is a collection of thoughts, a reply, and an acknowledgment to
the things I hear and see around me. As well as passing thoughts I get while I’m building.
